Icons for folders!

Have the ability to color code the tag icons in the sidebar. Also, these colors should change the color of the tag itself in the notes wherever they are found. (The current tag implementation with subtags is cleverly designed. Thank you for this.)

Show preview of attached PDFs in notes.

It would be great to be able to assign colors to the folder icon (and folder name, ideally) in the sidebar -- that way it would be easier to tell at a glance which folder I'm skimming for the right document -- I often realize I'm looking at the wrong one only after several moments.

Add notes and/or folders to favorites for quickly access them.

The iOS version and it seems older versions of Noteplan displayed calendar events and reminders at the top of the Daily Note for the day. However, it doesn't seem like this is available in the current macOS version. I request it added (back) to the Daily Note in macOS. This would be so helpful, as I often use the right sidebar for seeing different filters.

It would be very nice to quickly flag a task as important via a "/" command, like other formatting options.

Would be great to offer handwriting recognition from notes created via Apple Pencil on iPad.

I use the square [ ] checkboxes in addition to the typical round ( ) checkboxes. I would like the filter options to be allow me to select either of these (of both) in filtering. Thank you so much!

Allow color coded icons and subfolders within FILTERS section. Color coded icons for notes are a really, really nice feature I appreciate from the recent updates.
