Feature Requests

I have some notes which are lists of other notes. Example, for my band we have a songlist note that lists all the songs we're working on. Each song in the list is a link to that songs note (lyrics, chords, etc.). When I click to view a song to view it's note, I cannot easily navigate back to the songlist note.

On Mac, Cmd-J automatically shows our last searches. But not on iOS or iPadOS. We often search for the same things over and over. Please automatically include a list underneath the search box of our most recent searches so we can just tap them.

The web app is very poor. It fails to even properly display the getting started page correctly, can't import templates or plugins, etc... The IOS version is lovely but I need it on my desktop, which severely limits my ability to use it.

Vertical small calendar scrolling on macos an ios would make the calendar jump around less. I sometimes end up in the wrong month because views switch without there being a visually traceable transition. Thanks for considering!

Add notes and/or folders to favorites for quickly access them.

I think it should be possible to order files and folders (by drag and drop) without relying on filename ordering or other metadata.

Some option to pull up all sentences linked to a specific page say "[[Quotes]]" and list the text in the page below

When I work a note, I want to see the note first and the backlinks seconds. Especially in daily notes I'm increasingly overwhelmed/distracted by the reference sections. Proposal: Move the reference section below the note. Alternative: Move the reference section to a separate pane as in Obsidian.

Moving around NotePlan with ⌘+J coupled with keyboard shortcuts is really time-saving. Hoping to get a keyboard shortcut sort of similar to Toggle Folding (Heading) or ⌘+/ to quickly view or hide the References panel at the top.

Having a "Today" or a "o" button in between the forward and backward arrows in the calendar would make easy to come back to today's note in one click.
