Feature Requests

It would be great if NotePlan integrates the ability to subscribe to its calendar from other calendars such as Google and Apple calendar. When I create tasks on NotePlan, it just stays on NotePlan and I can't see it from my Apple Watch or other devices that don't have NotePlan installed. Being able to subscribe to NotePlan's calendar should be a simple feature that most to-do list/ daily planner apps have and I'd expect it to be present in such a Calendar driven planner like NotePlan. It would be awesome if you could incorporate this feature if you haven't already.

Currently, NotePlan can sync timeblocks to a calendar of your choosing (awesome!) but changes to those timeblocks from a calendar app do not sync back to NotePlan. It would be helpful to have a two-way sync so that timeblock changes made within a calendar app to the start time or duration of a timeblock would reflect back in NotePlan.

Since web app doesn't really sync the calendars correctly, It's mostly dead space. If you added the option to switch the right sidebar to "All Tasks" that would make it much more useful!

Currently, Noteplan allows importing tasks from Apple Reminders but does not offer bidirectional synchronization. This means that tasks created or edited in Noteplan are not automatically reflected in Apple Reminders. The absence of this functionality limits the flexibility and convenience of managing my tasks directly in Apple Reminders or other apps that integrate with it, including using Siri. > Why Synchronization is Important: Having bidirectional integration with Apple Reminders would provide a more cohesive and efficient task management experience. Often, I need to create, edit, and delete tasks directly in Apple Reminders or other integrated apps, and I also use Siri for task management. Other Noteplan users have also requested this functionality. Currently, I am a user of Agenda app, which has this feature, and the absence of this capability is the only factor preventing me from fully migrating to Noteplan, which I find to be a fascinating and incredibly well-designed application. > Proposed Solution: Implement bidirectional integration with Apple Reminders that allows: Automatic synchronization of tasks created, edited, or completed in Noteplan with Apple Reminders and vice versa. Configuration options to choose which task lists from Apple Reminders should be synchronized with Noteplan. (If possible, no problem in using Reminders notifications) Synchronized notifications and alerts between the two apps to ensure no reminder or task is missed. (If possible) The integration should work consistently across all supported versions of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. I deeply appreciate the fantastic work done on Noteplan so far. It's an outstanding application, and this added functionality would make it even more powerful and versatile. Thank you for considering this request, and I look forward to seeing how Noteplan continues to evolve to meet the needs of its users.

To collaborate with other users in Team, add a "space" in the sidebar which is by default shared with one or more other users. Any notes or folders added there will be shared with the people defined in the "space". This can be also a workaround for users with two different Apple IDs.

It will be perfect if you add notes sync with apple notes app. To show folders from there e.g.

I would like to be able to attach a file to a note, and have it previewed in the note. Kind of like Evernote, or Obsidian. That way we can add a pdf to a page and not have to open it in a seperate window to read it. This is a first step to true OCR and annotation in NP.

Please add additional options for syncing with WebDAV and NextCloud.

Please add the App Lock Feature.

I'd love to sync my themes. Settings, perhaps, but the themes for sure – it's a pain to migrate my updates from one place to another. Or let the themes be notes!
