I’d love to request a feature to be able to zoom into bullet points (hoisting), similar to what Workflowy has (IMO) perfected.
Being able to “hoist” a bullet point and temporarily treat it as the top-level view reduces distraction and lets you work deeply within a single project, task, or outline branch. Complex outlines can be overwhelming at full scale. Zooming in on one bullet keeps things manageable and easier to follow.
Additionally, many users (myself included) are familiar with this feature from Workflowy. It's the only feature from Workflowy that is keeping me from fully replacing Workflowy with Noteplan.
• Clicking (or using a keyboard shortcut) on a bullet zooms into that node, promoting it to be the "header" and showing only its children.
• Breadcrumb navigation/keyboard shortcut (like “Parent > Child > Current”) allows moving back up the outline.
Thanks for considering this.
