Thanks for merging Eduard Metzger, I didn't see the duplicate.

Paste rich text as Markdown

Pasting into NotePlan from e.g. MS Word, Evernote or an email just pastes the unformatted text.
Typora does a decent job of identifying H1, H2, H3, bullets, numbered lists, bold, italic, etc. I don't know if this is from a standard library but it is super useful!
My current workflow is:
- Copy from source
- Paste into Typora
- "Copy as Markdown" (Cmd-Shift-C)
- Paste into NotePlan
It's clunky but it works!

I like it too and accidentally posted the same thing elsewhere.

Jon Plummer: Have merged it! Along with your vote.

Anton Sklyar you mean when you copy Rich Text? Like bold rich text from say an Email or a website is copied, it should paste the markdown version?
Anton Sklyar
Eduard Metzger: Exactly! That would be very handy. It could be implemented in different ways: for example, Bear app just does that conversion automatically when you paste text from a website or email, whereas in Ulysses you have an option "Paste from" and can choose to paste from rich text or html.

Anton Sklyar: Ok, got it. Have updated the title to clarify. I like this suggestion.
