Filter (narrow) notes shown in sidebar by title (textbox at the bottom)

I have 2500+ documents in the sidebar and full-text-search is super slow. Most of the time, I know a word in the title. I want a filter text field in the top part of the Notes title listing in the sidebar which gives me a lightning-fast way to find a document by title search.

But this is more of a full-text-search (it's SUPER-FAST). I was thinking more of a pure filter which would. simply narrow the items in the Notes file listing to the ones with a specific title -- like when you search in Finder
