Drag to arrange lines/tasks

I often find myself wanting to re-order the lines or tasks in a given note.
Using the arrows on the Command bar to move the item where the cursor is can be helpful, versus cutting & pasting, but it's still tedious.
I would love an "arrange" mode as in Drafts where I could move individual items or collapses groups up or down by dragging, without having to selected anything.
As in Drafts, each block of text gets a drag handle, & there are also up & down arrows & "up to top" or "down to bottom" arrows.
This is the easiest way I've seen in any app to rearrange an outline, which is basically what a task with nested subtasks is.

You can drag tasks and any kind of text by long pressing it. Did you try this? I assume this is iOS?

Yes, this is iOS. I assume you mean by selecting & then dragging & dropping. I do this sometimes, but the Drafts method is far superior. You click one button & all the text in that note become blocks (either line, sentence, or block) that can be moved by drag & drop or with arrow kays ALL WITHOUT SELECTING ANYTHING.
Since I often start the day by moving tasks up or down, or to other dates, this would be very helpful. Selecting the right text, by contrast, is very tedious & prone to error (leaving snippets of text behind because they weren't selected, e.g.
I hope this is helpful.

I agree that the Drafts reorder method is efficient and worth emulating.
