It would be nice to be able to define a default template for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly note. Every time I open up a new Daily note, I have to click the Insert button to bring in my usual template. I would save time every day if I could just define a default template.

Agreed. How would it work if you send tasks to it though? A good halfway might be a one click apply template. Also wondering how it would work if you update a template? How far into the future would a template be applied beforehand?

Mehul Kari ideally prepended? Another requested feature. Or in a designated task section - which would be even better.
