Autocompletion for unresolved [[links]]
Eduard Metzger
Cache links to non-existing notes, so they can appear in the auto-complete box the next type you attempt to type it.

Just want to add that this would be an essential feature for me, too, unlocking common workflows I would use in Roam, Obsidian, etc. where I’d mass-create links I want to reuse, sometimes long before creating a corresponding note.

Just to elaborate a bit on why one might want this: When taking notes, you often come across ideas that seem important and/or that you may want to write a note about later. By creating unresolved links to those not-yet-existing-notes, you will be reminded of those concepts when typing a similar word in the future (but only if this feature request is implemented, of course).
The advantage is that you can then create a link to the exact same not-yet-existing-note (and not a slightly differently worded version of the same idea) so that when you eventually write a note to elaborate that idea, it will already be linked to relevant other notes (which may even facilitate your writing of the note).
As I think about it, I don't really see any point in creating links to non-existing notes unless these will show up in autocompletion.

Chris: I find this lacking in NotePlan as well and in my opinion is one of the fundamental features of these 'note linking apps'. I think this feature needs to be prioritized because the longer we go without it the more cleanup we will have on our hands when it's finally implemented.
