Add a task to a project note. Drag to calendar and choose Schedule action. Noteplan thinks the task was on a random daily note, so it copies the task to the date with a "<" backlink to the random daily note.

For example, dragging "A new task" from a project note to April 28 creates a a copy of the task in April 28: "A new task <2025-04-17". It also shows "A new task >2025-04-28" in Scheduled state in the project note. That is, it thinks that "A new task" came from the daily note on April 17 (or some random date).
