Javascript Plugin Framework added (click here for docs). You can build your own Command Bar plugins and expand NotePlans functionality as you need it using simple Javascript.

IMPROVED

Rendering of custom theme improved in backlink and search results. So custom theme additions like "!! flagged", which apply only to tasks or lists also work.

The search result and backlink font size is adapted to the body font size now.
Tabbing text adapted, so you can not only indent tasks and bullet points (as before) but also insert tabs in the middle of plain text in order to align the text visually.

Here is an example of a habit tracker:

All icons used throughout the app updated.
Create new notes always in the folder of the currently opened note (Mac and iPad). Also when following [[links]] which have no existing note yet (all versions).
Command bar and auto-completion searches for notes now asynchronously, which means it won't block the user interface when you have a lot of notes.
Added sort option "Sort Folders Above Notes" (in the menubar under "View" > "Sort By"). If you turn it off, you can sort notes above folders, like a note called "!Inbox Note" would be sorted at the top.
Right-click added to date navigation top right to open a day in a new window or show the events. A single click will always open the day now.

Collapse All Folders option added (Option+CMD+/) on Mac, so you can quickly close all open folders (or see in the menubar under "View").

FIXED

When you deleted a note or folder on Mac and then opened the iOS version, the items in the sidebar were still visible. The sync worked, but the sidebar wasn't updated.
When renaming a folder by adding a "." or "/" anywhere, like "1. inbox", it split up and created two folders.
Deleting a folder from outside NotePlan (i.e. from Finder) was not detected.
